Indiaโs EdTech industry was valued at US$ 12.75 billion in 2024 and is projected to cross US$ 61.25 billion by 2035. India also has 958 million active internet users, while ASER 2024 reported that almost 90% of 14โ16-year-olds had smartphone access at home.

The session explored how Indiaโs education ecosystem had moved from basic digital adoption to smart classroom solutions, interactive displays, AV solutions for education, blended learning, teacher enablement, immersive technologies and global education partnerships.
At the public digital learning level, Diksha hosted over 19,698 courses with 182.3 million enrolments and 145.7 million completions, while SWAYAM MHRD recorded over 6.1 crore enrolments, showing the scale at which digital learning had expanded in India.

The next phase of EdTech in India will not be about adding more technology.
It will be about improving access, engagement, employability, trust and measurable learning outcomes.
